I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Holy shit. My cell phone bill is triple what it usually is, because of how often I used it in the hospital. Fucking $.45 a minute on the overages. Shit. Shit. Shit.

Shit, vw! I'm sorry. That happened to me once, when I was running helpmeveronica.com and spending hours coordinating things with my partner with no regard for minutes. I have a huge plan, and I still managed to go over by, like, sixty bucks.

I'm now on board with Kristin's loathing of March. I mean, we have Buffistas' loved ones dying, Buffistas getting laid off, Buffistas not getting jobs they were interviewing for, an emergency C-section....

I dislocated my shoulder!

Our bank account has been hacked, and EMPTIED

Holy shit!! {{Amy}} (What bank?? I'm suddenly very grateful for some of the ridiculous security measures I have to go through with my banks' websites.)

And consiering Em's plans for world domination (that's daddy's girl!), especially unsafe.

And MM and Aimee, you realize that in ten years or so when Em does a search, she'll have proof of just how silly her parents are. An adolescent's dream!

AmyLiz, best wishes for a job and quick resolution of your bank problems.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

OK, this is friggin' ridiculous. WTF, MARCH?!?!?!?

Amy, I'm so sorry about your bank account and about your mom's pain meds.

Eep! To little Noah and Grace and their worried mommies.

FUCK! To Theo losing her job.

Thank goodness SA got some good news. Congrats, sweetie. That's just wonderful.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Okay 1)

If I need to whomp an intruder, I damn well don't want to have to roll my agility for it.

The instant I get home, you will have to do The Snork. There is no question about it: You are officially a Big Damn Dork.

2)

We need a gun.

You wouldn't let me buy a shotgun years ago. NOW you want to get all "shoot 'em all and let CSI sort 'em out"?

...

Okay.

(I kid. I know the first thing Emeline would do would be to shoot the dog. And then she'd get That Look in her eye...)

I got new glasses to cut the UV damage (and they're really nice) so that should help. He said it wouldn't be a problem if I weren't so extremely nearsighted, so I'm hoping for the best. Getting older sucks.
