You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

We were six or seven years old when it came out.

I was in college, and it made me want to my radio across the room.

There like many bad pop songs of that era, and some I disliked at the time have sounded better to me when I didn't hear them every four minutes. Radio in the '70s was close rotation of the Top 40.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I don't know why he thinks normal is The Thing To Be at all times.

I have a brother like that. i feel sorry for people trapped that way. They must be afraid of screwing up ALL THE TIME. Plus they don't have as much fun as the rest of us.

The status is NOT quo.

"Fire" by the Ohio Players was apparently the #1 song the day I was born. I've never even heard of it.

Robin, how does 3ish sound for company?

brillig

Me: "Calcutta" by Lawrence Welk--who was bounced by Del Shannon's "Runaway". If I'd only held on a couple of days.

Boy, I regret looking that up.

Hubby: "Young Love" by Tab Hunter--at least I've heard of that.

Are you shitting me? That's one of the greatest funk dance songs of all time. I guarantee you ND has it on his computer.
