Sorry, I didn't mean to kill the thread. I BSed some sort of response about how this week's readings are important to me in my life and in my future profession. Two weeks down, three more to go. Sleep well, Bitches!

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh, there will be pictures. There will be lots of pictures. There will also be lots of pictures of Cass, who is my date for this event, and who is kindly letting me play dress-up with her.Cause being dressed and made up by you is in any way a hardship, Jilli? It was so very much fun! I had fabulous smoky eyes too.
And there was the always hilarious getting two girls in corsets or waist cinchers and much petticoats into my car. Poof 'splosion!
There are millions of pictures but I haven't seen them posted yet. Jilli was absolutely the Queen of the Goths and just gorgeous. Everyone wanted to talk to her and take her picture.
*passes cosmo*
Sorry for the stress, sj.
Can't wait for pics!
Hard to type with the sweetest puppy in the world laying by me on the couch, but right under my left hand.
It's too much new information at once,
I've been there sj, and feel for you. I hope that the test didn't go as badly as you thought and that, with some time for things to soak in, you are able to wrap your brain around the reading.
Want to go play dress-up right now with Tep and DJ and Jilli and Cass and sj and Suzi and and and. Yes.
Speaking of - I need to find a consignment store, for I have a lot of clothes I need to sell off and no digital camera for the eBaying.
I'm actually planning on getting my hair cut on Saturday. I kinda miss the emo rock goddess hair ala Joan Jett (and I wouldn't mind her body, either), but I fear the wispy. I think my previous hairdresser scarred me or summat. My hair's looking a lot like this lately, actually. Hooray wedding hair. That was some good hair.
Ooooh, I wanna play dress up!!! Actually, I want someone to just plain help me find a style. But until then, dress up is good. Yuppers.
juliana, I love your post-Joshua Tree hair...rrrowrrr.
I know of none in SF but like a brazillian in Dallas. So, clearly, you should come here. I'll protect you from the scary people. By which I mean the snotty entitled people, the fundies, and the Plano people, not the cross dressing cowboys, tattooed freaks, or Solomon (you'd have to meet him. The man speaks 6 languages, is Eritrean, has led an interesting life, but when he gets drunk it's all, "Heeeeeeey! Dat's me in de CO-neeeer! Dat's me in de SPAT-light!").
ETA: Love that hair! Also, I wanna play dress up too! I'm dreading packing for the trip. No idea what I'll want to bring vs. what I'll have to bring.
the snotty entitled people, the fundies, and the Plano people,
Those are the scary people. The other people you listed are my kind of people.
I'm dreading packing for the trip. No idea what I'll want to bring vs. what I'll have to bring.
Layers, baby. Layers. Also, you're probably a couple sizes smaller than me, but you can borrow any of my stuff. It's a long tradition, borrowing my stuff to go rampaging.
Actually, I want someone to just plain help me find a style.
When we goin' shoppin', then? And thank you, sweetheart.
When we goin' shoppin', then?
Uhhmmm, when I find a sugar daddy?!?
