Angel's lame. His hair goes straight up, and he's bloody stupid!

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

All lush and blonde and pink and 110% girl? Hell yeah.

It's true. I had to put a drool bib on Ple after she saw JZ's matron of honor.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Betty wants to be Veronica. And Betty + red lipstick does not = Veronica.

The other way round too. I will never look like the girl next door. I'll look like the stripper dressed up like the girl next door.

And, nah, I didn't think you were having issues, but lords know how I hate when I say, "I'm not feelin' it" and someone tries to argue me around to saying something I don't think. Best to go with, "Ok if you believe I can pull off bombshell, but I think you're nutso and I'm very pretty."

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

they take you for granted.

Work things are actually improving, over all. These next few months are not going to be fun, but I'm on track to shift into a different position. Worst case, I just have to stay with this company a year after I graduate in December - THIS YEAR (otherwise I have to repay the tuition reimbursement). DH, well, not much is going to change there in the short term.

Teppy, I think you are pretty darned hot. You may not fit the conventional mode, but that pic of you in your cherry dress with that wicked look in your eye? Melt worthy.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I know I already bitched about this tonight, but this class is way over my head. I just spent over an hour taking an online test, which I did not do well in, and now I have to write a post for my reading journal about my new learning for the week. The problem is I haven't learned anything new, because I can't really comprehend what I am reading. It's too much new information at once, and I have always thought my reading comprehension skills were pretty good. In conclusion, someone please pass me a cosmo.

Sorry, I didn't mean to kill the thread. I BSed some sort of response about how this week's readings are important to me in my life and in my future profession. Two weeks down, three more to go. Sleep well, Bitches!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh, there will be pictures. There will be lots of pictures. There will also be lots of pictures of Cass, who is my date for this event, and who is kindly letting me play dress-up with her.
Cause being dressed and made up by you is in any way a hardship, Jilli? It was so very much fun! I had fabulous smoky eyes too.

And there was the always hilarious getting two girls in corsets or waist cinchers and much petticoats into my car. Poof 'splosion!

There are millions of pictures but I haven't seen them posted yet. Jilli was absolutely the Queen of the Goths and just gorgeous. Everyone wanted to talk to her and take her picture.

Sorry for the stress, sj.

Can't wait for pics!

Hard to type with the sweetest puppy in the world laying by me on the couch, but right under my left hand.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

It's too much new information at once,

I've been there sj, and feel for you. I hope that the test didn't go as badly as you thought and that, with some time for things to soak in, you are able to wrap your brain around the reading.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Want to go play dress-up right now with Tep and DJ and Jilli and Cass and sj and Suzi and and and. Yes.

Speaking of - I need to find a consignment store, for I have a lot of clothes I need to sell off and no digital camera for the eBaying.

I'm actually planning on getting my hair cut on Saturday. I kinda miss the emo rock goddess hair ala Joan Jett (and I wouldn't mind her body, either), but I fear the wispy. I think my previous hairdresser scarred me or summat. My hair's looking a lot like this lately, actually. Hooray wedding hair. That was some good hair.
