We also get to force him to swallow pills twice a day for a while, and have to permanently change his diet.
Goodness. The feeding him pills will get easier, I promise.

Sean, good luck with Kitty's new diet and the pills.
My sister, an expert in getting pills down a cat and living to do it again, has found that giving them a little treat right afterwards makes it easier.
A few days back I posted a link to a guide on how to pill a cat. Um... that's all I remember at the moment.
Wrapping it in a treat sometimes helps.
I'm sorry about the cost, Sean, but I'm happy about the kitty.
Also, I was rushing to the end to post "Driver picks the music," etc. Hah. Like there were not going to be fangurls before me.

That worked for me a couple of times. Then my cat figured it out.
Unfortunately, Kitty doesn't do treats. Seriously. He's one weird cat. Not even remotely interested in human food, or catnip, or kitty treats.
Sean, try offering him a bribe. I mean, if treats and catnip don't work, I find that cold hard cash makes a kittty amenable to just about anything.

Come on, buddy. Ten dollars, cash money, just take the pill, okay?
Also, he's leaking a little bit. Poor guy.
