libkitty, stay away from the (stunning, whoa good pictures) avalanches!

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
WindSparrow, regarding your dilemma, I'm a big fan of Always.
Yeah, I went with Always. They are ok. I need wings, and they don't quite fit as well as the Stayfree ones.
It really should not cause a person to cry, standing there reading all the damn labels finding the right size with no scent and No FUcKING WIPIES. I should not have been in pain and working so hard at not having hysterics just to not buy WIPIES. I wasn't in the WIPIES aisle. I was in the feminine hygiene aisle. Not buying WIPIES should not have been so difficult. Wings I want, but I can't have those without the rotting-garbage plus nasty cheap potpourri stench.
ETA: libkitty, please stay safe.
The snow has turned to snain
Is that "snow and rain" or "raining snails"?
I'm disturbed by the words "subdivision" and "avalanche" in the same sentence. Stay safe, libkitty.
There are a lot of people who are completely clueless about diet. One reason I became very impatient with WW and other diet classes is that there was always someone who was just discovering that the package really contained four servings, so they had eaten 1,200 calories, not 300, and who were stunned and amazed that a Big Mac and a large fries added up to 1,000+ calories. I kept hurting myself rolling my eyes.
whimper
The vet has kept the kitty overnight for observation and blood and urine tests.
The house is all empty and stuff. S nothwithstanding.
I realized I forgot the pads. All I've got in the house are
The ones I got as bandages for my leg a couple of years ago?
I can totally pick up some for you. I will stop at Wal-Mart on my way home...
ETA: Um, perhaps this would be better if I call you before I leave here as well...
Oh, Sean. You have had way too much crap. I hope the kitty is fine and S is feeling better.
Well, the vet didn't seem too concerned, but she wanted to run a full gamut of tests to be sure of what the problem was.
We're just...
Kitty is a little codependant, and I think we've maybe become a little codependant on kitty. So not having him here is making us sad.
Kitty wasn't particularly happy with being shut up in his cat carrier, dragged to a strange place, and then left in the care of strangers. I hope he's not too unhappy with us when he comes home.
So, my dad was supposed to be arriving here about now. Only I just found out his flight was canceled. And he hasn't called. My brother canceled my parents' cell phones (long story) and fedex'd them new ones only they just arrived today. So my dad is somewhere between here and New Mexico and he hasn't called. I doubt he actually knows my number. He may have called my mom but she isn't home tonight and again, my brother canceled her cell. Good grief!
Best to the kitty, Sean. Sorry your place is feeling empty.
I always try to schedule returns so that I can pick up the Kittenish from the cattery on my way home. I hate this place without her.
I can totally pick up some for you.Between Sean and DCJ, the race is on for Best Boyfriend.

Woe. Have given up the ubernifty race tickets in favor of merely really, really good tickets so my uncle can come too. Also reserved another hotel room cause dad won't share. Weird when I sent them the confirmation because my uncle has my old AOL email address. Yay races!
Nice tree, Hil. Looks well planted.
Hee. Thanks. I think this was the first time I've ever seen pistacio trees.
Those pics are adorable, Daisy.
