I got a small cherry pie today on a whim. Owen took one bite and spit it out like it was poisoned. Must be a texture thing--he didn't care for the filling.

We'll see if he goes for the special order sugar cream pie we ordered for his father tomorrow. If he refuses that, we're taking him in for a DNA test.

I am willing to come by and eat Owen's cherry pie for him.

I had my therapist test me for ADD today, and, of course, I have it. I need to call my PCP now and make an appointment to talk about meds. I really getting sick of the feeling of not being able to get out of my own way, so it is time to do something about it.

I'm thinking about dipping a toe into homeowning waters. I've been tired of renting for a few years now, and I have savings that almost add up to a decent down-payment. Prices around here are pretty scary, though.

TCG and I had a not fun conversation about home ownership the other day. We're both sick of being renters, but buying a house seems overwhelming to me. It is so much cheaper to rent where we are, so I think we're going to put it off for a couple of years and try to save some more money in the meantime.
