Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, -t. I just called and made the appointment for next Tuesday. I hate making those phone calls.

TCG and I had a not fun conversation about home ownership the other day. We're both sick of being renters, but buying a house seems overwhelming to me. It is so much cheaper to rent where we are, so I think we're going to put it off for a couple of years and try to save some more money in the meantime.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I got a small cherry pie today on a whim. Owen took one bite and spit it out like it was poisoned. Must be a texture thing--he didn't care for the filling.

Em did the same thing this weekend.

I ate an entire pumpkin pie while she was hating the cherry pie.

And everyone?

Thank you so much for all of the love and support and ~ma and brackets and just everything. It's awesome knowing how much I am loved and that while it sucks right now, I have you guys to lean on.

In Mom News - She went to work this afternoon and has laid off the Ativan. I am very glad about his.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Kids today, hating pie, what is the world coming to?

Boy do I ever understand hating making those phone calls! That is awesome that you have done it.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

That's good news about your mom, Aimee.

I don't understand the pie hating kids. I can understand not liking the crust but not the sweet filling.

Our wings are not tired.

It's good to see you my dear. Happy to read that your mother is improving too. Take some time to relax in the love surrounding you before thinking about school and such.

I took two tests. One was a test where you pressed the space bar on a computer every time you saw a letter flash on the screen, except you're not supposed to press the space bar when you see an X. The other was a questionaire about how easily you get distracted or avoidant in certain situations.

I did that test! And a bunch of other things with flashing colored blocks and remembering words and all kinds of shit. It was really fun, and one of the words was "coffee", and I TOTALLY FLUNKED IT.
