Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Don't make any decisions until you've had a couple days rest, Aimee. Seriously, you probably just need a chance to recharge.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Aimee, so glad you're home safe and warm. Hec's advice to curl up and rest for a couple days before you make any long-term decisions is good. You've got such great support there at home.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

(((Aimee))). Take all the threadspace you need. Also, seconding Hec. Though I would suggest letting your profs know what's up. Just so it's not weighing on you.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Sorry. I know my bullshit has taken up a lot of threadspace this past week.

Now you just hush on up about that. hands over a steaming mug of your beverage of choice

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Aimee - what Hec said. School may be a welcome distraction in a day or two.

I got suck ass grades when mom was going through her transplant, but I'm so glad I didn't drop my classes as badly as I wanted to. I know what I went through with her doesn't compare, but its all I got.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{{{Aimee}}}}} Don't you worry a bit about taking up thread space. Also, listen to Hec and give yourself a couple days to process before you make any decisions.

brillig

Hell, I don't even remember most of the semester I went through when my father died. I must have done adequately, because, hey, I did graduate.

Bury yourself in pillows and a husband who's grateful you're home for the rest of the week, then unbury yourself and see what the world looks like.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Aimee, to cheer you for a moment, go back a bit and look at the picture of Cashmere jello wrestling. That was definitely cheering (and disturbingly hot).

I keep thinking I want to own my own home again, then I remember what a hassle it was, and I don't think I've got the energy for it. Not all by myself. I can't afford anything but a hovel in my area anyway, and doing all the fix-up on our old farmhouse has gotten all those romantic ideas of fixing up an old house right out of my system.

libkitty, I shall go out on the end of the Grand Canyon Skywalk and spin around for you! Then you will have been there in spirit. I cannot, however, get you a raise in spirit. My powers of transferance are limited that way.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Now you just hush on up about that.

Yes. This.

I also like the phrase.

I got a small cherry pie today on a whim. Owen took one bite and spit it out like it was poisoned. Must be a texture thing--he didn't care for the filling.

He's obviously a changling.

We'll see if he goes for the special order sugar cream pie we ordered for his father tomorrow. If he refuses that, we're taking him in for a DNA test.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I am willing to come by and eat Owen's cherry pie for him.

He can have my lima beans.
