Also, vibing all sorts of good-enoughness to Emily. I'm all sorts of cross that your first year teaching in Northern California has been at a Bataan Death March of a middle school. You are a great teacher (hell, even at Bataan Middle School you've managed to reach at least a couple of kids, which is a bloody miracle) and so very much worth a better teaching assignment.
