What'd you all order a dead guy for?

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

A little {} for the Aimee, if she wants it.

billytea, those pictures are quite breathtaking. You both look incredibly content and happy, and lovely to boot. And I thought the 5th of the set was very cute. Congratulations to both of you!

And timelies to all. I was out of town this weekend, spending time with some different people that I don't see two often, and I was struck by what a good time I had. I just felt so *good* the whole time I was there, and it's one of those moments that throws into sharp relief the difference between getting by and feeling great. Also, I won $4 at poker, whee!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Okay, that is levels and levels of suck and wrong, Vortex.

Hey, Aimee. How are you doing?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Thanks guys, and thanks Frank. I hope so, too.

Michigan has been ... well, sucktastic with suckass topping. My mom has been tranqued to the gills since Friday night. She competely lost Saturday - had no idea what day it was this morning. She's doubling up on her Ativan and has been having friends (who don't know of her bipolar meds) bring her sleeping pills. My dad hid them. I want to yell at her and tell her that Gramma would be fucking pissed, but she wouldn't hear me anyway. I just want to go home at this point where I can grieve and have someone else take care of me instead of vice versa.

At least I was able to file for my umemployment....

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Oh, poor Aims. How awful for you.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Aimee, I'm so sorry. That sounds horrible.

How long are you out there for?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I'm here til tomorrow night.

The will reading was this morning and she didn't even go. She's just not functioning. I'm trying very hard not to be judgemental of my mom and how she's handling this horrid awfulness, but ... well, she's not even facing it or coping or grieving. She's just numbing herself to all outside forces and it makes me mad.

Because books.

Yay for a good weekend, Ailleann!

Aimee, I'm so, so sorry. I wish I was there to really hug you. When are you heading home?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."
