Don't worry, I'm not gonna start any sword fights. I'm over that phase.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

"I enjoy being a girl"

Not.

Oooh, cookie? I am about to grab my coffee and watch some racing. If I have to suffer, I am suffering in style. And waiting for the Advil to kick in.

Oooh, cookie?

You can totally have a cookie! As a matter of fact, I highly recommend overeating girl scout cookies. It's gotten me through the last week (I've gone through four boxes! Insanity! Did I mention I'm seeing the nutritionist tomorrow? Um...how am I gonna keep that one from her??).

vw, no need to keep it from the nutritionist -- Girl Scout cookies don't count because you're eating them in the best interests of the children and/or investing in America's future.

I'm glad Toto's feeling better and I hope his recovery is swift.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I have headache. It is behind my left eye. It has hurt since yesterday afternoon. I thought it was a result of the St Patrick's day bar crawl, but I realized that headache went away yesterday morning, this one started later. Tylenol has no effect. It feels kind of sinus-y, but general sinus remedies have no effect. Its also not dehydration, or wearing my glasses too much. I was hoping it would have gone away when I woke up.

so, I'm staying home. I have 300 hours of sick leave, fuck it.

Unfortunately, I really should probably put it on my food diary card.

I like Sparky's thinking, though.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Huh. I was hoping homosociability was when gay men invite you over for brunch. But I figured it was something more sociological....

Years ago a friend read me a list of symptoms of (I think) alcoholism. One of the symptoms was "socializing with one's social inferiors." Which was, say, if you're a professional and you hang out drinking with working class folk.

For some reason the term "social inferior" kinda' bugged me. Can't really guess why....

Vortex, this is why you have sick time. Feel better.

when gay men invite you over for brunch.
I like this definition though. Let's adopt it.

Because books.

Unless they were *made* from real Girl Scouts, of course.

Sorry about the headache, Vortex. In the eye like that, I always think sinuses. Are you congested?

Sorry Toto is feeling poorly, vw.

It's Monday. I feel I should be more excited about this, but somehow, not so much.

My vet is the bestest ever. There's a reason I don't want to switch to someone closer.

I'm off to buy baby food and turkey lunch meat to see if we can get this goof to eat *anything*.
