{{Toto & vw}} Did you get through to your vet?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

The context for "homosociability" I got from the paper I read, was "male homosociability" and it referred to the phenomenon of, basically, gravitating toward/ socializing with/ more comfortable personally and/or professionally with people who are like you.

The paper I was reading was attributing one aspect of the paucity of wmen in upper levels in higher education management to male homosocialbility. The golf buddy syndrome.

She's not in yet, but they're calling to get the ER records faxed, and she'll call when she gets in.

Nora, that's really interesting...

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

You know a bad way to end seeing peeps? Waking up with cramps. There will need to be a nap today. I finally gave up on bed and made some coffee. And took Advil.

Mmmm, coffee.

I hope you get through to your vet, vw.

"I enjoy being a girl"

Not.

Oooh, cookie? I am about to grab my coffee and watch some racing. If I have to suffer, I am suffering in style. And waiting for the Advil to kick in.

Oooh, cookie?

You can totally have a cookie! As a matter of fact, I highly recommend overeating girl scout cookies. It's gotten me through the last week (I've gone through four boxes! Insanity! Did I mention I'm seeing the nutritionist tomorrow? Um...how am I gonna keep that one from her??).

vw, no need to keep it from the nutritionist -- Girl Scout cookies don't count because you're eating them in the best interests of the children and/or investing in America's future.

I'm glad Toto's feeling better and I hope his recovery is swift.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I have headache. It is behind my left eye. It has hurt since yesterday afternoon. I thought it was a result of the St Patrick's day bar crawl, but I realized that headache went away yesterday morning, this one started later. Tylenol has no effect. It feels kind of sinus-y, but general sinus remedies have no effect. Its also not dehydration, or wearing my glasses too much. I was hoping it would have gone away when I woke up.

so, I'm staying home. I have 300 hours of sick leave, fuck it.
