Hey, man, where are my pants? I have my hippo dignity!

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You're almost there, Emily. I'm not sure when your session gets out, but it's not more than a few months, is it? And you can do anything for that long. And then it will be summer and you can look for another place more suited to your brilliant teaching skillz!

Librarian Warlord

My DH called on the way to dinner with a bunch of pilots. I won't be seeing him any time soon. So, leftovers tonight, steaks tomorrow.

Emily, I'm sorry that the job is doing this to you.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Emily, read the first sentence and the last sentence. If they suck, give 'em a D. If they don't, read the rest.

I would be a HORRIBLE teacher.

Because books.

Psst. Emily teaches math!

I'm sorry it's been such a sucktastic year, Emily.

There's nothing on I want to watch, with TAR delayed. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is bound to leave me in tears, and I'm so not in the mood for weepy.

Read the first story problem and the last story problem and skip in between?

Or, just grade for the answers. Tell them they need to make the argument if they want credit for their work?

Gah. Have a drink, Emily. I have some Amaretto if you'd like to share.

SFO's not so much with the efficient. Or are you in Oakland?

I was in SFO. Wow. That was unbelievable.

Now I'm in a grogeous painted lady with one of my fellow presenters (who is a doll). We've planned it all out, and it looks good. I'm happy I'm not carrying the whole 90 minutes on my own. Going to seek food and hotel shortly.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Home from Seattle and now I miss my peeps. A lot.

But I picked up Kittenish from the cattery, unpacked and am now flopped on the couch verging on comatose. Well, luggage unpacked. There are still some things in the car. Like candles cause I picked up a few.

And Cass went the same color as my pants, which just makes it funnier.
That conversation never happened. Never. Ever.

I don't acknowledge vermilion. Like a life without clicky fire, doesn't exist.

Really I'm just deciding whether or not to give them any credit if they got absolutely everything wrong, and all their graphs look the same. It's about 30 seconds per page -- there are just so many of them, and they're so, so wrong.

Anyway, I'm off to go do it with company. Later!

Oh Emily, I'm so sorry. How frustrating.
