Ah, the pitter patter of tiny feet in huge combat boots. Shut up!

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

Or do you have a video store nearby?

No. The local video store went out of business. I could take a bus to the Blockbuster in the next neighborhood, but I'm lazy and don't want to leave my pupster. It's ok. Just disappointing.

Oh, and I TOTALLY want to come visit you. But not to ski. I don't ski.

To tell the truth, I don't ski either. Come anyway! We'll not ski together!!

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I adored Juneau the one time I visited. Wish I had the money to do so again!

So this has to be the most painfully slow airport departure ever. I waited 35 minutes for my bag to finally emerge, took the AirTran over to the rental center, and am now standing in yet another ponderously slow line to pick up my rental car.

On the upside, I always forget how beautiful SF is. Gorgeous here.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

SFO's not so much with the efficient. Or are you in Oakland?

Yes, it is a gorgeous day. I just spent a good portion of it in the park, people-watching and sun-soaking. Mmmmmm.

I wanna visit libkitty!

Toto, feel better.

My DH went to a hangliding site in Va this morning and I haven't heard from him since. His cell phone might not have a signal, but I'm hungry and want to know if there's any hope for having dinner soon.

Ok! Any time except late April, when I WON'T BE HERE! I'm just a little bit happy about that. Just a bit.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Hate that feeling. You don't mind waiting , if you knew when dinner would be. If it was a while, you'd have a snack. And you'd like to eat dinner with him... This can happen even when Matt is home. esp. if someone else is here working on something in the garage. Then it can get worse, because I don't know i f the third person is eating here or not.

I have accomplished a number of small tasks today. I think there are two more to do - one of which must include DH.

I started doing my grading, and the work is so painfully bad that I fell asleep rather than do any more of it. How the hell am I going to get through this year?

You're almost there, Emily. I'm not sure when your session gets out, but it's not more than a few months, is it? And you can do anything for that long. And then it will be summer and you can look for another place more suited to your brilliant teaching skillz!
