And almost sixty-five percent of that was actual compliment. Is that a personal best?

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Yeah, Mister.

I'm not the one spilling details about my pants to the crew.

Pshaw. Purely comedic effect.

And Cass went the same color as my pants, which just makes it funnier.

Probably. I have no idea what you're saying.

Crazyhead.

ST. Pat's

host and hostess cook the corned beef - everyone else brings the potatos. I started drinking the whiskey because the wine was going down to fast.

now does it make sense?

Oh... yeah, that Irish thingy. Never paid much attention to it myself.

After all, we had St. Georges day, and we didn't expect the Irish to celebrate it with us.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I started drinking the whiskey because the wine was going down to fast.

I recognise that logic. I try not to apply it to myself anymore as it leads to paradox and unpronounceable latin phrases in my case, but I wish you luck with it.

Po-tay-toes. Boil 'em, mash 'em, put 'em in a stew.

My only nods to St. Patrick's Day this year were a corned beef sandwich and a nightcap of Bailey's. So it goes.

I'm still in NJ. My mother made corned seitan and cabbage yesterday. It was actually not too bad, though kind of weird.

Still jetlagged. At least this jetlag has me waking up early -- I've got to teach tomorrow morning.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

HAppy St. PAddy's day. I worked, then went and hung out at my other work, then went with two of the women I occasionally work with to the most Italian bar on the block, the bar where people go to die, the bar that opens at 6, Gino & Carlo's. We're all Italian in North Beach, but we're all Irish on St. Patrick's Day. The nice thing about G&C's is that there is a higher ratio of professional drinkers. I may have had a little too much Fernet. The cops clashing with the drunks is definitely keeping me up. Whoooooooo.

OK, one sort-of picture from Israel. I'll have mine up on flickr tomorrow or Tuesday. For now, all I've got is this: [link] . Scroll down to the first big picture, and that's half of me in the yellow t-shirt and jeans at the far right. That's at Modi'in, which is where most of the Chanukah story takes place. It was so cool being able to walk through where Judah Maccabee was fighting. Anyway, we planted some trees there. I planted a pistachio tree.
