HAppy St. PAddy's day. I worked, then went and hung out at my other work, then went with two of the women I occasionally work with to the most Italian bar on the block, the bar where people go to die, the bar that opens at 6, Gino & Carlo's. We're all Italian in North Beach, but we're all Irish on St. Patrick's Day. The nice thing about G&C's is that there is a higher ratio of professional drinkers. I may have had a little too much Fernet. The cops clashing with the drunks is definitely keeping me up. Whoooooooo.

Scroll down to the first big picture, and that's half of me in the yellow t-shirt and jeans at the far right. That's at Modi'in, which is where most of the Chanukah story takes place. It was so cool being able to walk through where Judah Maccabee was fighting. Anyway, we planted some trees there. I planted a pistachio tree.

I'm still sort of jetlagged. It's already lunchtime in Israel.
