Oh honey, thank you. If this was a month or so from now, and my meds were actually working, I'd love it. But right now, I'd end up mugging you for your big girl Ativan, and then find there's still not enough Ativan in the world.

I knew it was a long shot, but I thought I'd ask. I haven't seen you in a long time, and I'd love to see you. We should practice the getting-together thing sometime. I could take a train up by you, and we could get half-caf coffee together! Or something. Someday.

And, yes. You were a total victor. GO YOU!

Poptarts:

I'm a total goofball this morning. I pulled out my red snowflake bra to wear in honor of the great snowstorm we're about to get. Not that anyone's going to see it, but me. But, it makes me smile.

Ok. Off to see mom, then school. Have a good day, Bitches!

vw, I've been known to wear underthings that match the weather outside, and no one ever sees them but me. And if your bra's from LB, I've got the undies. So, you know, we can be goofballs together.

It was supposed to start snowing by now. If it would start snowing, I could call my landlord and tell her that she can't show the condo today because I am not driving in the snow. Now, I'll probably leave so they can show the place and then it will start to snow.

They have been hyping the crap out of this round of weather and I'm starting to feel dubious. Can any of those further south (where it looks like the precip has started) chime in on how things are weather-wise?

At this point, I'd almost prefer it be snow rather than rain. Walking in the snow isn't the greatest, but it beats the hell out of walking in rain at these tempratures. Goes double for wintery-mix. Ptewie! We shall not speak of it again.

I am EXTREMELY dubious about this snow thing. People are going insane over it, and nothing has happened.

I just called Mom in RI, and she said it is snowing there, but it is not snowing hard yet.

To be fair, the last couple of winters, when the weather folks have hyped up a storm like this, they've been right. HOWEVER, I remember for a number of years before that, they were both (a) missing big storms that caught them off guard and (b) making a huge OMGWTFSNOW!!!!! deal-lio about what turned out to be an inch or two.

The other thing is, the forecast itself isn't THAT bad - looks to be about 8 inches at a maximum and then turning to rain, which I find to be small potatoes in terms of a winter storm.

yeah, I am sure there will be snow and it will be a PITA. I just can't stand the general panic over white stuff in the sky.

Also, my stomach hurts and I am cranky.

Onion bagel.

I strongly suspect the weather forecast types hype these because it looks better if they predict snowpocalypse and are wrong than to miss it and everyone gets buried. But the "cry wolf" factor does set in after a while (not unlike with the frelling terror alert levels).
