He's using Dominic Purcell for Hyperion, isn't he?

Discussion of Buffy and Angel comics, books, and more. Please don't get into spoilery details in the first week of release.
Yep.
I see. No particular objection in principle, however, I can't help but wonder if the current crop of comic writers are having a strange reaction to the fanboy crushes of yesteryear these days -- what with Whedon finally hooking up Kitty and Colossus in Astonishing, and the overt and increasing sexualization of the Scarlet Witch over in Avengers (hooking her up in one-night stands with Cap and now Hawkeye) and now this, I can't help but think there's something profoundly Freudian going on here.
Didn't Wanda and Clint have a really nice platonic friendship through all the years when she was ping-ponging between the Vision and Simon Williams? Why they hafta mess a good thing up ?
But Kitty and Colossus are an old item. I don't think that counts as a change. Well, not in the same sense as the others you cite.

Very true, but I couldn't help but think at the time that this was something Whedon (and other fanboys) had been thinking about for a long, long time.
Well, Colossus was "dead" for a long, long time. It seemed pretty natural to me that they would hook back up once he was brought back.
Oh, I think Joss is definitely fixing things. But I think it's a very natural and simple thing to do in this case.
Why are we whitefonting? This all happened more than two weeks ago, right?
It looks like a painting.
I know.
USA Today previewed a look at the Silver Surfer in the film, but 20th Century Fox has provided us with a higher-resolution version of the image, which shows the Surfer in all his glory from next summer's FF sequel! Here's how Avi Arad described him to the newspaper:
"[He] will look somewhere between gun metal and fluid metallics so you can see the body motion, the breathing, the muscle tone, the mood. He is a highly emotional being, trapped inside fluid metal."
