Needless to say, I'm less than enthused with the character developments of Cassandra Cain.
Yeah, it has a lot of people up in WTF.

You could *kind* of see it coming. But that doesn't mean I have to like it.

Maybe, but now she speaks fluent English. That's out of nowhere.
I'd be pretty impressed if there was a reason behind it (that leaves me happy) whose revelation in OYL time unfolds along with the backstory in 52.
But I doubt that is going to happen.

Not for the reasons she gives, I don't think. It's not at all in line with any of the textual information we have about her.
I can see her being all "I am not a tool of Batman." You just REALLY have to sell me on her shift. The end of her comic wasn't enough.
Going as far as "I kill my father, I am not my father"...takes a bit more work.
A poll for your Friday amusement.
I've started reading comic books again and I haven't really read anything since December, but I got caught up on some storylines, I picked up the latest Outsiders and I have 1 questions... Mallah and The Brain -- are they a couple? I found the answer. I was thinking Mallah was Grodd (both being gorillas), Mallah/Brain is kinda sweet in a twisted way. Why does the world think that the Outsiders are dead?
Interesting article on DC vs. Marvel.
Fan of the "I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!" video?
There is now a sequel, in two parts, based on the "Juggernaut Returns" episode. It is called J2: Juggment Day. It's not as hilarious as the original, but there's an awesome Deep Blue Sea joke in the first five minutes.
The guy also seems to have done a similar dub for a Spider-Man episode.
For DCAU fans, it looks like Amazon is doing a sale on a bunch of different DVDs. They've got Mask of the Phantasm, Batman/Superman, Return of the Joker and Sub-Zero for $6.99 each and the first 2 seasons of Superman: TAS for $14.99 each (they're still charging $35 each for the Batman:TAS DVDs, though, much to my disappointment.)
