Even among the X-men, they can't really screw around with Wolvie, Cyclops and Jean Grey too much.
Wolverine because, well, he's Wolvie, and Jean Grey because they've retold the story of the Fall of the Phoenix how many times? It's a proven money maker, and because the Phoenix storyline needs a love, Cyclops has to stick around.
I just meant costumes, not characters. They change without fanfare all the time.
They already tried to change Spidey's outfit once, and it didn't stick. What makes them think it will be different this time?

I think it's that THEY'RE ON CRACK.
What bothers me isn't so much the new costume, though it is the suck (he looks like what you'd get if Tony Stark was bitten by a radioactive spider while simultaneously getting shrapnel in his heart), but the fact that he's frickin' flying.
And it looks like he's got arms like Doc Oct.
It is a little excessive.
Finally watched JLU 5x9 and 5x10. I agree that 5x9 was totally fanservice but still a lot of fun. And the animation was awesome. Plus, it was Joss-verse-tastic with Morena, Gina, Amy Acker and Juliet Landau. Morena surprised me as her brain-washed BC was actually pretty scary sounding.
5x10 Not knowing anything about the Legion of Superheros this was kind of a "meh" episode for me and as soon as they said "One of them didn't return" and started talking about how mature Kara was and out of place she must feel not being around high tech I knew she would choose to stay. I agree the romance was pretty sloppily handled.
I'm kind of disappointed that 5x11 looks like it's going to be another Hawkman episode. With only three left in the series ever, I was hoping for more core 7 stuff.
I had high hopes for Wulin Warriors (the kung-fu puppet series on CN), but my God, what a shitty dub. They took something cool and made it unwatchable.
