Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

...And 5x09 was all fanservice. I feel guilty for liking it so much. Some of the best animation in the whole series. Plus it had Nightwing in it for about 2 seconds.

Looks like the Legion won't be until 5x10, DX.

Is JLU still on Saturday nights? I didn't know it was on at all before you guys started talking about it.

They're airing new episodes overseas, but not in the US yet.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I feel guilty for liking it so much.

Yeah, me too, Tom, and you're right about the animation. The previews for 5x10 (maybe) are puzzling, because they seem to be mixing characters from different iterations of the Legion (not that they've ever been especially faithful to canon, but Bouncing Boy was jettisoned as a super hero about four iterations ago).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Seth Fisher has died.

No, I got that. I mean, is it live-action tv? Cartoon with voice-overs?

I could freak you out and point you to the live action Justice League from 1979, but actually, it's a cartoon, it's on Cartoon Network (sometimes, the people who schedule CN are on crack). It's the same people who did the Batman and Superman animated series from the 1990s, and at least some of the episodes are quite good.
