My immediate thought upon reading was "May want to check into adoption options, SuperBarbie, as the only living being you're guaranteed to have breeding compatibility with is your cousin. Like, species extinction can be a real bummer."

What if DC ever takes her off of that book? I mean, will she change her name to "Kent" if she winds up on Superman? Or "Gordon" if it's BoP?
Or the writer of that piece was making a poorly constructed joke. Or it was in a press release that the writer took as fact when it was meant as a joke. Who knows?
FWIW, Wikipedia says the same thing. But then again, the person who wrote the Wiki article doesn't seem to like her very much.
