Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Whoops. TV Superman has a dorky belt. Something distracted me from that. Not sure what...maybe the fact that Dean Cain is hot, and Roush has yet to sell me.

Not sold on the movie as a whole yet, really, whereas I was psyched about Begins from day 0.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

TV Superman has a dorky belt

It's quilted. This is as amusing to me as Ple's plaint that "Aquaman's classic costume has a boatneck collar!"

and Roush has yet to sell me.

He looks like Ken Wahl.

I think Routh's got the right look (costume aside), but have zero information about how he'll perform in the role. Whereas Bale has me as a guaranteed ticket sale for anything that doesn't involve him starving to concentration camp inmate weight or singing in an ascot.

Routh. Right. Bad ita.

I'm still not over it not being Victor Webster. Sometimes I'm just not good at letting things go.

Oh my. I would have passed right by that typo unaware, but now am picturing the TV Guide critic in tight primary-color spandex, flying past the skyscrapers of New York. It's not a good thing.

The idea of Routh as Superman and Roush as Clark makes me laugh unduly.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Dialogue added into the Jim Lee Infinite Crisis cover.
