I've been meaning to post that I really liked SERENITY #1. It definitely had the feel of an episode (though, as has been said, only the first part of an episode, not a whole one).

Hypothetically, Comical or a similar Mac picture archive viewer. This one: [link] looks neat, but I haven't tried it.
