Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

BTW, the next issue of 1602 is due out on Sept. 10.

Want. Now. I e-mailed my brother a link to a good Web article about it and said "Go buy this NOW. Or you are a fool."

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Also with the WANT, NOW!

I think Paul enjoyed it, and he had no idea who any of them were. Actually, he probably enjoyed it more on first read, because he wasn't going "ooo, who's X?" like I was.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

Duh!

The characters: on the Virginia maid! Steph, I think your friend is correct. Snowbird was an Alpha Flight character who was a metamorph, able to transform into giant forms of artic animals (giant owls for instance) along with magical powers from being tied with the land.

on the other hand I do believe that her protector is Steve Rogers...

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

I've got to say the 1602 was extremely cool. Very breezy. It seems hard to believe that there will only be 8 issues.

I have a question: Was the Old Man Javier?

Also, If the Grand Inquisitor is Magneto, does that mean he doesn't know that he is a "witchbreed"? Or maybe he has no powers?

I am supremely in love with the idea that Virginia Dare's protector is Steve Rogers. Gaiman is a genius.

All this so that Neir Gaiman can regain the Miracleman/Marvelman rights. Well, at least the fans benefit.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Yo Plei--you get my email?

Nothing to say about 1602 save that I'll hopefully be getting it soon.

OK, I'm going to have to go into the comic book store and get 1602. Damn you all! I haven't set foot in a comic store in 15 years, except to get my Lovely Wife comic boxes, which work perfectly for storing sewing patterns.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

You know, the Captain America idea never occured to me, even though the guardian's name is "Rojhas" or something like that. Duh.

Can't wait 'til the next issue.
