And Kaylee, what the hell's goin' on in the engine room? Were there monkeys? Some terrifying space monkeys maybe got loose?

I'm very skeptical about anything that Wanda could do, even in desperation, erasing Stephen Strange's identity and building a false one that he would buy (ditto for Professor X if he shows up in the same manner). He's the one who saw through all her delusional reality twisting before, and made her see through it with the Eye of Agamotto. If this isn't explained as her actually retroactively changing the timestream itself I'm going to be very peeved .

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

From The NYT: Collectables aren't a good investment.

Are collectibles a sound financial investment? If the past is any guide, the answer is no. Historically, collectibles have yielded a much lower return than stocks and carried more risk.

Thanks, Tom! I missed it, of course. (Another baseball night for Emmett.) And that's my local bookstore where I did my first reading too. To be honest, my one meeting with Clowes was so good and weridly random it would be hard to top it with a reading.

So, Ple what's been rocking your world?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Manhunter, Batman, Action Comics, Batgirl, BoP, Gotham Central, and Wonder Woman, for starters.

Firestorm was, but I don't have enough data on the new writer.

I'm just waiting for DC to run out of event crossover ideas and have Midlife Crisis, in which the heroes become concerned when Batman trades in the Batmobile for a red convertible and starts wearing lots of tacky gold jewelry. (Hey, he already has the age-inappropriate girlfriend...)

Art Crawl!!!

Ple - post NML. Is it Evolution and Officer Down but then nothing else? Or does it go from Officer Down to the Murderer/Fugitive series?

I picked up the latest issue of Wonder Woman. I was reading that regularly. And Birds of Prey.

And Batgirl. Cassandra rocks.

Manhunter --- I have the first issue of that (I think) -- female vigilante right?
