Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Disney obviously missed the last issue of Jhonen Vasquez' Fillerbunny, where he depicted Dan Vado t gross sitting on his throne wearing a coat of live fetuses t /gross

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I read #1 of House of M today, and apart from the little voice in my head trying to make me think of The House of Yes, I'm wondering -- what's up with Wolverine? He was zombified and killed the French Canadian guy, and then a couple X titles were dealing with fallout -- but how done is that?

I just found out that mine's probably closing by August, and the competent knows-the-business clerk is jumping ship next month to a new store run by a friend of his that I could, if I were feeling uncharitable, call a pinheaded blowhard. By next year I may be buying all my comics in Memphis on Saturdays.

Art Crawl!!!

Zombified???!!??

I was going to get my comics after work but given the giant black line of t-storms coming my way, I think I'll wait 'til tomorrow.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

My comic store moved from two blocks away to 10 minutes up the road. While hardly tragic, it still sucks that going there will have to be special trip rather than a brief stop on my way home from work.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

My comic store rocks. They had a Geoff Johns signing there last weekend. It's near to my house, too. I hope it never closes its doors.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

My store is NOT ALLOWED TO CLOSE.

However, if it does, there are several other qualified stores in the area where I could set up my pulls.

In this week's JLA, did J'onn's "I would never manipulate the mind of another. It's the worst violation there is!" make anyone else want to hit the writer with rolled-up copies of the Waid/Hitch White Martians storyline?

I guess it was the FBI's witness protection program that set all the defeated White Martians up with counterfeit identities and memories ...

In other news, now my innocence, like pie, gone.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Haven't read the new issue, but... I think that has to be considered a seperate case. As it was presented at the time, it was decided that only J'onn could sit in judgement on his people, and that what he was doing was supposedly done in keeping with the laws and customs of his culture. Since that distinction was originally made, I think he can be given a pass.
