I just got the hardback 1602 for Christmas, and it's freaking brilliant, of course. Anyone else read this bit of Gaiman-penned Marvel goodness?

Just about everybody here, I think. Most folks were a little disappointed in the ending, though enjoyed the run of it quite a bit.

I never really have read any Marvel comics, so it didn't strike *me* as all that splendid. I read it because it was by Neil Gaiman. t /fan girl

We did some fun read and posts, as I recall. It was pretty fascinating to watch the knowledgeable deconstruct it.
Call me an uber-dork, but I didn't realize that Teen Titans #19 was out today, until I saw the list. (I already knew that Batgirl [yay!] and Batman would be out today, but I thought TT was next week.)
I'm all excited, dork that I am.
Ah, crap. I must brave the comic shop today for TT and Batgirl and Batman. Maybe I can leave work earlier than normal to avoid the guy who asked me out last week.

Heh. I have kind of a crush on my comic-book guy. It's a geekboy thing.
Happily crush-free with regard to my comic book guys, but I do time my visits to try and coincide with Mascot Lad, a cute and way-too-young-for-me fellow customer.
For a while, there was a girl who worked at the comic book shop who looks and dresses like Plei.
She quit, and now she works at Kid Robot.
Tom, how is your toe? Did you go to the doctor? Did the toe turn black and fall off, or are you still 10-Toed Tom?
