Is anybody here reading JLA: Elite? I'm surprised I've seen no comments about the revelation that Kausmi is Batgirl.

What? Does this mean I need to read it?
Dammit.
ita, it's OK. Not my favorite book, but readable. And Kasumi, the ninja assassin mystery woman on the team, turns out to be Batgirl, spying on the JLE for Batman.
Huh. I may see if there are issues I can read in store, see if I get hooked. Miniseries or continuing?
I have to admit, IC made me a little more league-curious.
And while I remember -- that shot of the league going back to normal has Batman standing in a mysteriously darkened corner, while everyone else is sitting at the table. Do you think they have to crappily light portions of HQ so he can lurk properly?
Miniseries or continuing?
It's a miniseries. The dialog is good, and some of the charcters are fun. Green Arrow and Flash seem a little out of place, but then, they're also being played that way, so it's cool.
Also, I'm certain they do. I'm willing to bet he pencils over design schematics to assure himself corners to lurk in.
Oh, and Matt,I see your point, although I think they're hand waving a couple old stories away. Mocker? Who's that? And when was Dr. Light there? As for the rest, it's obvious Parallax's influence was starting early, but even so, I think we've only gotten part of the story, as evidenced by Sinestro's arrival. And I, for one, am happy to have an even ALMOST satisfying reason for the ring to not work on yellow...
Victor, the Dr. Light thing happened not that long before Hal went ballistic. Light had become sentient incorporeal light, and attacked Hal's family at Christmas (via an animated string of Christmas tree lights, no less!). Hal zapped him into his lantern, and thence to Oa. I agree with you about the reason for the yellow impurity, and also think it's nice to have a halfway sensical explanation for what Green Lantern energy actually is. I'd previously seen stories saying that the Guardians drained supernovas to power the battery up (insufficient for what we've seen the Guardians and the Corps as a whole capable of doing), or that it was their own focused mental energies (wouldn't explain why Guardians themselves get weaker if they're away from Oa for an extended period, or the wacky yellow limitation).
Yeah, I'm thinking a few GL stories from back then will be handwaved away. Such is life with the spandex set.
I ran across a snarky comic remix of Identity Crisis #3. The funny thing is I never read Identity Crisis, so I didn't know what I'd been linked to until he touched on an event that you guys had complained about upthread. It was funny even not knowing the source. He also did a couple pages of Wolverine goes to Japan.
I just got the hardback 1602 for Christmas, and it's freaking brilliant, of course. Anyone else read this bit of Gaiman-penned Marvel goodness?
