"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think all his "screen time" was with Rogue and Wolverine by the time she was aged back into adulthood. But I gather he's inhumanly agile and fast, whereas she's merely near the peak of what normal people can do.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm going to have to check my X-Men power book. I love that thing, even if I see why they may ignore it whenever they want.

I thought his powers were just powering things up. Except he now seems to have a second sight, as well as being blind. In some book or the other.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

100 Bullets is finally making some sort of sense...kind of. This story really needs to be read with all the past issues at hand so you can sort out the timeline. I have no clue what the fuck is going on.

Fables was great.

Powers was awesome.

Nightwing was really good as well.

It was a good week for comics.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I picked up the TALES OF THE VAMPIRE compilation, and I have a question. I picked up the TALES OF THE SLAYER compilation a while ago, and it's about half the size of VAMPIRE. Were there more issues of TotV than TotS? Or was there more than one TotS compilation (comics - I know there was a lot of fiction)?

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

Tales of the Slayer was a one-shot collection. There was never any singles, unlike TotV, which was a mini-series first.

I suspect TotS was a test product, and TotV, which followed in the same vein was longer as part of the fact TotS did so well.

I hit up the Official Handbook:

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

(kicks things)

Snow in the passes means our $@!# shipment did not come in yet. Delayed! ARGH!

I did, sucker that I am, pick up the New Avengers. Why, yes, if you put Jessica Drew in it, I'll probably buy it.

Okay: it's here.

So, looks like Storm is faster, and the other factors are even.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

She'll be back in the classic costume. And it looks like Bendis is going to let her keep her edge (unlike in her brief appearance in Secret War.)
