Simon: I'm trying to put this as delicately as I can... How do I know you won't kill me in my sleep? Mal: You don't know me, son. So let me explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kalshane, wasn't the "Old chum" something the Windbag had called them earlier on in the ep?

You know, as soon as it was revealed that the person on the other end of the phone was a women, I knew it was Amanda Waller. Totally sounded like a gig for Stonewall. And when Batman said "Mine are bigger," I thought "Only by a little."

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

ita, it's possible he did and I missed it. I just seem to recall Superfriends!Batman and Adam West!Batman used "Old chum" a lot.

Yup, Windbag or the head dude in the Dorky Superhero League said "old chum" to the Justice League. Or perhaps just to Batman. Can't remember.

In that case. Nevermind about the out of character thing.

Basically, Batman was getting his snark on. Or his bitch on, whichever you prefer.

Umm, over on LJ somebody mentioned that this episode was supposed to have been the one with Vixen, did I somehow miss her?

No, she wasn't there. Maybe they were getting their black voice actors mixed up?

That's what I figured. And they were lame. How many different sorts of sea words does one need? Tidal wave? Sea surface? Dude -- you're water. And messy, at that. When you leave a character wet, is that bits of you, or what? The sister was a bit weird too. A swimming T Rex? What's that about? Avoiding being an actual aquatic animal, in case Aquaman gets you, but how long can you hold your breath? At least there was a bit of variety, and they evidently didn't need to change at the same time.
