Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

Hey -- that's excellent Teppy!

I feel like I've achieved some milestone of geekdom, having a pull list.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

God, I can't even pick a comic store, much less get a pick list. I am a nomad among the trade paperbacks.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, had your other store had the option, I'm sure you would have leaped in sooner.

I'm probably going to get some of the things my store is holding for me as well as the Outsiders and DC. I need to pick up BW:Fugitive Part 3 -- if they've got it and I'd like to get a Batgirl tpb.

Do the Batgirl tpb start with Silent Running ?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

My new comic store (in my 'hood; it opened in August) is a wee tiny one

Is this the same one I went to?

I've got a lovely independant comic book store called Gosh Comics across from the British Museum. They've been lovely about doing pulls for me. I can't believe I have pulls. In another country.

No -- the one we went to when you were here is the previously-mentioned "big one." This new one is teeny-tiny, but it seems they have games going on every night (I learned this from their Web site, which is very bare-bones but kind of funny, text-content-wise).

And the owner is cute and geeky. And a big ol' democrat.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

SA, I've been to that comic book store!
