Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second — the second — that happens, you know I'll be there. I'll slip in, have myself a real good day.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Yes -- Outsiders #18 and DC 801 (I think).

Yep. Those (and the first GL: Rebirth, if my shop get in any copies of the new printing) are pretty much my list for the week.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

My new comic store (in my 'hood; it opened in August) is a wee tiny one, and as such, they don't order a ton of copies of any given issue. When they were out of TT 19, and I reacted with it's-the-end-of-the-world angst, Comic Book Guy said "Tell me what titles you regularly read, and I'll pull them for you when they come in." I have a pull list now! (My old store never offered that, though I'm sure if I had asked, they would have, but it was a non-issue b/c the store is so big that they order a gazillion copies of most issues, so they never run out.)

Also, new!Comic Book Guy is cute in a geeky way, and possibly single.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My list is:

  • Firestorm #8
  • Outsiders #18
  • New X-Men #7
  • Uncanny X-Men #453
  • Y The Last Man #29 shakes hand at sky

And comiclist has the Rebirth on.

I feel like I've achieved some milestone of geekdom, having a pull list.

God, I can't even pick a comic store, much less get a pick list. I am a nomad among the trade paperbacks.

Well, had your other store had the option, I'm sure you would have leaped in sooner.

I'm probably going to get some of the things my store is holding for me as well as the Outsiders and DC. I need to pick up BW:Fugitive Part 3 -- if they've got it and I'd like to get a Batgirl tpb.

Do the Batgirl tpb start with Silent Running ?
