Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

My head, and I curse you for this, just mapped Dick on Dawn and pictured Bruce as Buffy.

At your service, madam.

The Spike/Hal bit, however, is totally your own responsibility.

Anyway, isn't he more Angel? I mean, We are the Spectre. Vengeance calls. Victims cry out for justice. Blah, blah, blah..

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Anyway, isn't he more Angel? I mean, We are the Spectre. Vengeance calls. Victims cry out for justice. Blah, blah, blah..

Hal and Spike are tied for the fancrazy awards, though. Besides, Hal's more like Spike personality-wise, all cocky and shit.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

and pictured Bruce as Buffy.

Batman: Criminals are a cowardly and superstitious lot.

Nightwing: Ah, yeah. Look, Bruce--that speech? Much more convincing if you weren't wearing heels.

Robin: How does he fight crime in those, anyway?

Nightwing: I think that's why he's the superhero and we're the sidekicks.

Batman: You just don't understand my pain.

Oh, sure. Just because he was a test pilot.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Nightwing: Ah, yeah. Look, Bruce--that speech? Much more convincing if you weren't wearing heels.

Robin: Though I *do* like your stylish-yet-affordable cowl.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Batbot: Hey! You look just like me! We're very gritty.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I picked up a copy of Batman & Superman recently -- the one where Supergirl "dies." Bats is saying he thought Superman's response to her being threatened...

Skimming that storyline just pissed me off, because JiffyPop!Supergirl was like, the FOURTH Kara/Supergirl who's showed up claiming to be Superman's cousin, and he immediately started acting more like an angry possessive big brother who'd known her for decades than someone who should rightfully be saying "what, again?"

In my opinion, Power Girl should be the person that he still has a sorta/not really familial relationship with, as it was supposedly years from the time she popped up before they found out about the fakeness of her origin. All the subsequent clonedroids/angelic doppelgangers/hypertime refugees should have been greeted with a fair amount of suspicion.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Matt! You've evidently skimmed more than I have. Did she pop up in that title? Which means really recently, since I was looking at #13. Damn.

She was real, was she? How real were the others?
