You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

No, apparently Lex is running on the Libertarian ticket this year.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I heart Bendis so much!

That post almost makes me forgive what he did to "Avengers." Almost.

Hey! Mike Badnarak is no Lex Luthor. I mean, c'mon, he's fro drug legalization and against the Patriot act!

Well, I was thinking he had more in common with the Libertarians than the Greens. Unless the green was kryptonite...

As far as the Avengers go, that couldn't have been just Bendis, right? The Editorial board had to have given him a list of who to kill off and who to disgrace, right?

I'm thinking Luthor belongs to the Constitution Party now.

Bendis has stated repeatedly that this is a story he's had in his head since he was a kid (although I have no idea how hold he is.) He was in a meeting with a number of Marvel editors and writers, hashing out plans for the Avengers, when--and a number of folks at Marvel have recounted this story--he started talking idly about this idea he had as a kid, and everyone thought it was great and that he should do it.

Seriously--I can't make this shit up.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I don't know from the Avengers, but I loves me some Powers, Alias, The Pulse, and Daredevil. Go Bendy!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

This latest Powers storyline is kind of going over my head. It's like "Deena's in trouble! And here's this guy we've never heard of! And let's spend forty thousand issues looking for her!"

This new Daredevil storyline might be interesting. The old-school art in the latest issue was cool, even though I have no idea who this character is beyond what I've been told.

Except I'm pretty sure we have heard of the guy who's got her. I'm more OMGWTF SHE'S GOT POWERS NOW?

If skills sold, truth be told, I'd probably be lyrically, Talib Kweli. Truthfully I wanna rhyme like Common Sense But I did five mill' - I ain't been rhymin like Common since (Jay-Z)

I am thoroughly enjoying Bendis' Avengers run, but it may because this is the first Avengers title I've read, so I have no history with the characters. But so far, it's pure Bendis. Great humor and lots of "holy shot" moments.

Powers and Alias/The Pulse are definitely my favorite Bendis books. Daredevil is great too.

But Powers is by far my favorite because of the art. I have to admit I am not crazy about the art in any of the other Bendis books, but Oeming has a perfect blend of cartoon/retro noir. I kind of hope the Powers movie never gets made. I can't imagine anything but an animated film doing it justice.
