Don't worry, we're sure to spot Faith first. She's like this cleavagy slut-bomb walking around 'Ooh, check me out, I'm wicked-cool, I'm five-by-five.'

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

This latest Powers storyline is kind of going over my head. It's like "Deena's in trouble! And here's this guy we've never heard of! And let's spend forty thousand issues looking for her!"

This new Daredevil storyline might be interesting. The old-school art in the latest issue was cool, even though I have no idea who this character is beyond what I've been told.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Except I'm pretty sure we have heard of the guy who's got her. I'm more OMGWTF SHE'S GOT POWERS NOW?

If skills sold, truth be told, I'd probably be lyrically, Talib Kweli. Truthfully I wanna rhyme like Common Sense But I did five mill' - I ain't been rhymin like Common since (Jay-Z)

I am thoroughly enjoying Bendis' Avengers run, but it may because this is the first Avengers title I've read, so I have no history with the characters. But so far, it's pure Bendis. Great humor and lots of "holy shot" moments.

Powers and Alias/The Pulse are definitely my favorite Bendis books. Daredevil is great too.

But Powers is by far my favorite because of the art. I have to admit I am not crazy about the art in any of the other Bendis books, but Oeming has a perfect blend of cartoon/retro noir. I kind of hope the Powers movie never gets made. I can't imagine anything but an animated film doing it justice.

Oh, I didn't see this posted here -

Buffy Season 8 Confirmed !!!!!!! But Not On TV... From Mikejozic.com - 2004-10-28th

IN COMIC BOOK !!!!!!!! Jane Espenson has been interviewed by the website Mikejozic.com

MIKE JOZIC : Have you spoken with Scott Allie about doing any more comic book projects in the near future?

JANE ESPENSON : I have. Scott has been very eager for Joss Whedon and me to work on new books that take the Buffy saga beyond the end of the show. And just in the last week, Joss and I have begun talking about starting the conceptual work on this. It’s early days, but I think this will happen.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Ah, yes. In that case, it probably doesn't matter that they don't actually resemble any of the characters that are supposed to be in the book.

That, and the frickin' "Magic space Aliens" appearing from nowhere and killing an awesome character for no good reason--Hawkeye--is the stupidest thing I've ever read in a comic book. And I'm including the stories where red kryptonite turned Superman into a mutant ape, and Lana Lang was transfomed into a half-bee superheroine.

Now wait a minute. Insect Queen was a perfectly cromulent character. Not red K, either. It was a magic ring.

Ah. I stand corrected, DXM. But either way, I like her more than what Bendis did to Avengers.

Truth to tell, I've had dental surgery I've liked more than what he's done to Avengers.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Looks like I'm getting Uncanny, Astounishing and not a damned thing else. I have flipped through Jubilee, and it looks not bad. Not compelling, but not bad.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm tempted to pick up 'Tec #800 to see the immediate aftermathiness of War Games. Haven't decided yet.
