I just skipped a whole bunch. Do BatFam peeps know there's a new Saturday morning Batman cartoon?
Yeah, you skipped over my posts about it. I liked the first few, and appreciated what they were doing. It's got a great look, and it's interesting seeing them doing a thoughtful reboot on the Bat-myth.
I have a question based on the new TT and the IC. Now that Tim's
father has been killed by CB, is that what puts guns back on the table, but he's sworn to never use another batarang?
Inquiring minds...
This week looks like:
- Batman #633
- Catwoman #36
- Outsiders #17
- Ultimate Elektra #3 (Of 5)
- X-Men #163, $2.25
I may also try and get some Runaways back issues.
Doesn't Astounishing come out this week?
Comiclist doesn't have it. And my Golden Apple list says its November 3rd.
Is anyone going to get the Green Lantern: Rebirth title? I'm intrigued, but I don't know if I'm intrigued enough to buy it.
Also -- I assume we can talk about the promos on the last page, particularly when it's a monthly title -- does the upcoming Outsiders storyline with the dude from America's Most Wanted sound a little hokey to anyone else?
Just the fact that it has the AMW guy in it sounds cheesy to me.
I'm going to be the GL:Rebirth.
I'm not sure what I'm going to be able to pick up tomorrow -- may be waiting for Friday before I get more than the WG stuff.
I have $11 and change in my wallet until Friday (payday), which is enough to cover Batman, Catwoman, and Outsiders.
I have to admit, I'm glad War Games is ending, because buying that many titles is a significant chunk of change. I think I'm going to make my "regular" comics:
Robin
Teen Titans
Outsiders
Nightwing
and the end of Identity Crisis
Though I'll probably have withdrawal from the jillion War Games titles.
Oh! Post-War Games spoiler about titles but not content:
apparently the next 2 issues of Robin and Batgirl are crossovers with each other, so I'll undoubtedly be buying those 2 Batgirl issues.
I can't decide if the following means that it *won't* be in stores tomorrow, or just that *some* stores won't have it (or will have limited amounts):
GREEN LANTERN: REBIRTH BACK TO PRESS
With the first issue of the mini-series Green Lantern: Rebirth sold out at DC Comics days before its in store date of Oct. 27, the publisher has rushed the issue back to press.
Written by Geoff Johns with art and cover by Ethan Van Sciver, Green Lantern: Rebirth #1 Second Printing is scheduled to arrive in stores on Nov. 17 with a new cover by Van Sciver. The second issue of the mini-series will be in stores on Nov. 24.
