Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There are going to be villains in the season finale??!?! I'm SPOILED.

That having been overreacted, where's the Tudyk love?

Art Crawl!!!

Ha ha! Changed to make ita look insane.

I don't know why they don't love Alan Tudyk. Perhaps he's been too busy playing robots to do cartoon voices.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I don't know why they don't love Alan Tudyk. Perhaps he's been too busy playing robots to do cartoon voices.

I think he should voice Blue Beatle.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Whoever voice casts JLU is large with the Firefly love. Shame about Green Arrow though.

If skills sold, truth be told, I'd probably be lyrically, Talib Kweli. Truthfully I wanna rhyme like Common Sense But I did five mill' - I ain't been rhymin like Common since (Jay-Z)

Catwoman #35

I was sorry to hear Ed Brubaker is leaving the title. I don't like the new art team nearly as much as I liked Cameron Stewart's stuff either, but have continued to enjoy the series anyway. Hopefully that will continue with the new writer.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Completely self-promoting post in which I link to my theory about what the hell is going on in War Games. All speculation, no spoilers. Or Spoiler.

Thrive to spite them

Last night I was at the bookstore and I looked through No Man's Land vol 2.

I was so stunned by the horridness of the artwork I couldn't focus on the words.

There was one panel where it looked like some zombie freak from hell was kissing this woman. I recoiled in horror at the image and started to feel bad for that poor woman being kissed by the zombie freak when I realized it was Commisioner Gordon!!!

I did flip towards to the end and see the cult/gang of guys who shave their heads and mutilate themselves and they looked better than Gordon.

I won't be buying it. I'll find some other way to read it but I can't see myself reading it for pleasure. I'll just read it so I can understand the next volume and hope to god vol 3 's art is somewhat better.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

askye, the novelization of NML will give you the plot without the bad art.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

askye, the only NML I own is #2 (because it was the only one at Half-Price Books, and I am cheap), and I totally agree with you on the horrible art, and that panel in particular.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

askye, it seems to be universally agreed that the art in NML #2 sucks royally. It's a shame, cause I kind of like that first story.

Ex Machina is heating up.

Re: War Games titles:

Part 5: Like Teppy, I really like Spoiler. "Oh look, she palmed a detonator." And then a nice ass-whupping. Before getting her own handed to her on a plate, yes, but it was still cool. Wasn't Black Mask in NML? Or pre-NML? His minions were featured in #1, I think, right?

Part 6: Who got decapitated in Batgirl? Does it matter? She showed up for an issue and now she's headless. Is she Lynx?

Part 7: Good issue. Loved the fight, with her adversaries admiring her moves. And Batman's psychological reasoning for pissing Catwoman off. And dude, taking over the fucking GPCD airwaves? Poor Oracle! He's stepping on toes, crossing lines. I hope for some good fallout.

And Astonishing was awesome. Parsley. Intractable. Longitude.
