Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

See I saw last season's finale, but I didn't get why GL would think Hawkgirl was on the GL home base world.

I got the impression that he's not looking for Hawkgirl, he wants to get as far away from her as possible.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I thought what Tom thought. Though it would have made more sense earlier in the season.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Steph, you mean Dr. Fate? Because if I try to explain that character, I'm going to get all kinds of confused, as I don't know which version they're using for JLU. Though the current continuity comics Dr. Fate would be hanging with Hawkgirl because she's his mother reincarnated, and also his cousin. Oh, and Current Comics Dr. Fate is Hector Hall, who you may remember from Sandman as the deceased husband of Lyta Hall, father of Daniel, he who is now Dream of the Endless.

The animation version of whats-his-name. He originally made an appearance on Superman: The Animated Series.

Visilurking

Well what can you expect from 60+ years of retconning?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Another connection between Hawkgirl and Dr. Fate (at least in some of their incarnations) is that they're both originally archeologists.

But in brief, Steph, Dr. Fate is the #1 Magic guy in the DCverse. Parallel to Dr. Strange. Plus he always just looked cool.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

The animation version of whats-his-name. He originally made an appearance on Superman: The Animated Series.

And from the looks of it, that's the original Dr. Fate--Kent Nelson--before all the continuity weirdness. He's much simpler to su up: bad-ass sorcerer superhero.

Yeah, but Hector's more fun, in a Darla or Connor kind of way.
