Even though the scene goes against so much I believe in, it's also quite splendid.
Heh. I got to that part and thought "I wonder what ita's going to think."
My one question about the issue, though is we see
the building Rogue is being held in in the background in the last shot
one would think that even if
the scent went dead, Wolverine
would have noticed the gigantic pink
explosion when Rogue blew out the window
earlier.
Picked up LotDK 183 over lunch and now I feel as though parts of it may have been meant to come after NW 97. Just from small things --they could just be glitchiness from the sheer number of writers working on the story, but after Robin and Bats meet up and rather than act all happy to see each other (Oracle is so funny) Bats asks her to get in touch with "everybody" -- which includes Onyx who I thought first met up with what'shisface in NW 97.
sumi -- *which*
whatshisface?
Also, in LotDK, I really really REALLY could have done without the
torture scenes.
And what was up with
Leslie checking out adoption records?
Hey, wait a sec. I didn't really get the
adoption records
thing either, Tep, but was she maybe looking up
Spoiler? I don't know her history.
The partner with the helmet -- you know that Bats put in charge of that gang.
Yes -- I wondered about the adoption thing too and wondered if it had to do with
Spoiler.
Sumi, I wondered the same thing.
I watched the new Batman cartoon on Kids!WB today. Very nifty art, not-so-good writing.
Damn! I completely forgot about that!
Well, tonight's JLU was very
Zeppo-esque.
I have no familiarity at all with
Booster Gold
and my only experience with
Elongated Man
is from Identity Crisis, but is
EM
normally so whiny?
Overall, I enjoyed it despite it feeling derivative and I got a kick out of the fact that
Skids(sp?)
sounded exactly like
Talkie Toaster
from Red Dwarf. I wonder it was the same actor.
