GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Well, tonight's JLU was very Zeppo-esque. I have no familiarity at all with Booster Gold and my only experience with Elongated Man is from Identity Crisis, but is EM normally so whiny?

Overall, I enjoyed it despite it feeling derivative and I got a kick out of the fact that Skids(sp?) sounded exactly like Talkie Toaster from Red Dwarf. I wonder it was the same actor.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Didn't watch JLU, but Booster Gold is fun--he was part of the "JLI" years, back when it was a funny book.

Kalshane -- I thought the same thing about JLU being Zeppo-esque, though it took me 2/3 of the episode to realize it.

And TT got big love from me, because it slipped in Starfire's Tamaranian name (Koriand'r) and she said "X'hal," which comic!Starfire says about 10 times per page, and I always wondered how it was pronounced. Plus I admit I laughed at the scene from The Graduate, just because it's so totally un-Robin-like. Normally, I would find it derivative, but it made me giggle.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Kalshane, Elongated Man isn't usually whiny. At least they got the detective thing right.

Art Crawl!!!

I got the Zeppo thing too but also very late (that scene where they showed all the stuff being sucked into the scientist and then from above you could see everyone else going after the evil magician).

Teen Titans used ita's favorite plot device evah!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Was there a big deception on TT, sumi? One where they had to keep one or more members in the dark so that his/her reaction was completely genuine?

That's my absolute favourite, although I do have a lot of hate.

I tried to watch a bit of TT, but those aren't my Tamaranians, and those aren't my Titans. Still can't do it.

Liked JLU well enough. It was the little touches -- like the pacing Skeets outside the ambulance -- that really charmed me. And Piven's not the voice I'd have thought of for Elongated Man, but it's always a pleasure to hear him.

Steph, when did we hear Koriand'r during TT. I only heard her referred to as Starfire and I was actually listening for it after the backwards "Dick Grayson" the other week.

Then again, I also completely missed the x'hal so maybe my ears were malfunctioning tonight.

Daniel- I thought so. Especially since he's not whiny in IC when he'd have good reason to be.
