this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I just watched my tape of JLU, and while I'm not quite sure how I feel about the idea of Bats/WW, if in fact they're going there, I laughed my ass off at this episode. I even liked Medusa's curling iron comment and found myself yelling "Run, piggieeeeeeeee!" at the TV several times.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I noticed they threw in a stray "That'll do, pig," in the dialogue....

My one quibble with JLU was that Circe's rendition of "Lulu's Back in Town" was a little too fast.

Yeah, yeah. I'm a dork.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Having not seen Babe, I had thought that "That'll do pig" was a sinister thing to say.

Like it was here.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Haven't seen the current JLU, but Bats and WW nearly getting together was actually canon recently, in JLA. Thankfully, it never went anywhere.

I love the idea, and I'm not sure why. Something about the inevitable sourness I see in him with a hero. Or do I mean with a woman? No, hero.

But I'm happy with it being just in my brain. I could do without it in JLU just fine. It worries me.

Art Crawl!!!

I found the "That'll do pig", both funny AND sinister.

I love the idea, and I'm not sure why.

I love the idea of Diana and Dick having to sit next to each other at some big briefing or event and both being really, really uncomfortable .

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Matt, BWAHH!

Hec, torch-song-singing Batman actually kind of broke my brain. In a "this is very, very wrong" way. Although now that I think about it, I'll bet there's an Elseworld out there where Bruce Wayne sings torch songs in clubs while fighting crime.
