No, that was Fred. I don't remember what Darla sang.

Hmmm, I'm thinking now that I am confusing a "blue" refrain with a "blow" refrain -- was Darla's song a torchy version of something from Shakespeare?
Darla sang "Ill Wind."
Y'all made me jump up and check my TiVo for the JLU crack.
Loved this comment by Bats: "You're a Princess from a race of immortal warriors. I'm a rich boy with issues. Lots of issues." They fight crime!
I feel certain that one of the first thoughts that will cross everybody's mind after watching this episode is that Shrift needs to write a story about torch-singing Batman.
Lyrics to Ill Wind
Blow ill wind, blow away Let me rest today You’re blowin’ me no good (no good)Go ill wind, go away Skies are oh so gray Around my neighborhood, and that’s no good
You’re only misleadin’ the sunshine I’m needin’ Ain’t that a shame It’s so hard to keep up with troubles that creep up From out of nowhere, when love’s to blame
So ill wind, blow away Let me rest today You’re blowin’ me no good (no good)
You’re only misleadin’ the sunshine I’m needin’ Ain’t that a shame It’s so hard to keep up with troubles that creep up From out of nowhere, when love’s to blame
So ill wind, blow away Let me rest today You’re blowin’ me no good (no good)
Blow, ill wind, blow.

Dini loves the nightclub setting. He had a great original torch song for Harley Quinn too.
For JLU, there were parts where I laughed my ass off Bats and WW's conversation, especially the "issues" line and Zatanna clobbering Circe with furniture while she's trying to do the stereotypical villain speech.
Other parts just made me cringe, like Medusa's curling iron joke and Wonderpiggy blocking the bullet.
All in all I really enjoyed the episode, though.
I just watched my tape of JLU, and while I'm not quite sure how I feel about the idea of Bats/WW, if in fact they're going there, I laughed my ass off at this episode. I even liked Medusa's curling iron comment and found myself yelling "Run, piggieeeeeeeee!" at the TV several times.
I noticed they threw in a stray "That'll do, pig," in the dialogue....
My one quibble with JLU was that Circe's rendition of "Lulu's Back in Town" was a little too fast.
Yeah, yeah. I'm a dork.
Having not seen Babe, I had thought that "That'll do pig" was a sinister thing to say.
Like it was here.
