Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Holli, it was a shipper's dream. WW challenges Bats about being single, he explains he has issues, she gets turned into a pig by Circe, Bats suddenly is very fond of stroking her, works with Zatanna (who's a bit jealous of WW) to get to Circe, and he sings a torch song before it's all over.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

TORCH SONG. It was surreal. Good pipes, though.

Art Crawl!!!

Was that the same song that Darla sang for Lorne?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

<runs to el nova del supr, does not pass go, does not collect 200 dollars>

No kidding. It was days before it showed up last week.

It was "Am I Blue?" written by Grant Clarke and Harry Akst. I don't remember what Darla sang for Lorne. Google doesn't seem to think so.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm not sure what sort of crack, but it's a bit like their offices were hijacked by ficcers. On crack.

It was really weird crack, too.

But he sure does have a nice voice.

Also, they really need to stop butchering Greek mythology. The bit with Medusa really hurt me.

Edit: Didn't Darla sing something about being crazy? I'm pretty sure it wasn't the same song.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

No, that was Fred. I don't remember what Darla sang.

Art Crawl!!!

Hmmm, I'm thinking now that I am confusing a "blue" refrain with a "blow" refrain -- was Darla's song a torchy version of something from Shakespeare?
