I think my intro to Scarface was No Man's Land vol 1. Which has so much going on in it.
DC has so many intersting freaks.
Speaking of, yesterday I realized I've never read anything with Harley Quinn in itand I need to change that.
Discussion of Buffy and Angel comics, books, and more. Please don't get into spoilery details in the first week of release.

So, finally got Astounishing. Totally fell for the misdirect. I knew Peter was dead, thanks to conversations here, but he never even occurred to when I went through the list of dead mutants it could be. Although, I do wonder if he got there by falling from the sky naked.
Also, the layout sequence where the bullet ricochets off something, and then you turn the page to see Colossus standing there, is perfect.
Hmmm, perhaps they'll have a flashback where they will show just that.

Maybe he came back wrong.
Don't hurt me! Joss has done enough!

Some disappointing news on the Bat-front:
Ed Brubaker to leave Catwoman afterf issue #37.
It looks like Scott Morse will fill-in for 3 issues, and then a new writer (unannouced as of yet) will take over. I hope they take the opportunity to change the art team at the same time.
Brubaker's run on Catwoman has established Selina Kyle as a serious character, rather than a one-note joke. This title has seen some experimentation with art and mood that is not normally seen in standard superhero comics, and I for one am disappointed that Brubaker is leaving earlier than he originially planned. (However, if he was getting burned out on the title like he says he was, maybe it's for the best).
Although, I do wonder if he got there by falling from the sky naked.
That sequence was so very end of "Beauty and Beasts," wasn't it ?
And also a little bit of newly-resurrected!Buffy asking Dawn, "Is this hell?"
Oh, my. This week's JLU?
Crack.
I'm not sure what sort of crack, but it's a bit like their offices were hijacked by ficcers. On crack.
I loved it! I thought it was hilarious.
