What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

What's so astonishing about Astonishing that they couldn't show a preview of the cover?

I don't know, cause although the cover is Beast's furry blue hands flanking a broken picture of old-school, hairy-with-big-feet Beast, the issue and its big revelations have nothing to with that.

Thrive to spite them

I wonder what's on the variant cover.

Thrive to spite them

I went looking on ebay and lots of auctions listed the cover you described as the variant. Except for one that had Colossus on the cover. So that must be the variant and I WANT!!!

Art Crawl!!!

Hmmm, I thought that the Matches Malone mention meant that after the fact Bats was going to use that alias.

I remember Steph finding that plan but hadn't put two and two together.

Oh, and Plei what about the sequence in Bats where Nightwing comes up and grabs Tim from behind?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

So, if I see the "alternate" cover at the comic store tonight, I should get it?

I get to take SA to the comic store on New Comics Day! Yippee!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sumi, I snickered like a twelve year old over that particular scene in Batman.

Astounishing kinda rent me. This was my first Catwoman, and is it always that pornily drawn? Slopey pointy tits and crotch shots? Ick. Haven't finished Batman yet, but I like that particular subplot a lot. It gets me emotionally.

I think that I would have been more broken by Astounishing if I had come in knowing more about Colossus then I do.

And given that Catwoman is Bruce's booty call. .. probably.
