Orpheus is this guy that Bats put into place as his man controlling the Hill. The only thing that makes me wonder if that really was him, was his going to Kosov's office without his mask.
Did you read last week's Nightwing ?
'Heart Of Gold'
Discussion of Buffy and Angel comics, books, and more. Please don't get into spoilery details in the first week of release.

Did you read last week's Nightwing ?
I did. I'm just confused as hell as to who all the different players in the gang war are because I was reading fast.
As far as I can tell, Bandage Guy seems to have made The Call That Started It All, Funky Helmet Dude is some guy I don't know, the Russian chick is backstabbing everyone and currently "allied" with Scarface, and the Italian boss' daughter is dying. I don't recall seeing Orpheus at all besides the first issue, and Onyx is in the hospital. I read mentions of rival gangs whacking off family members of the Italian gang, but no Big Whack that could be Orpheus. And Tarantula's totally getting in the way.
The guy with the mask is one of the bodyguards.
Of whom? Bandage Guy ? Or one of the gangs?
Of bandage guy. Unless I am much mistaken.
I think that the guy they were meeting with was a minion of the Penguin.
There is backstory leading to War Games in DC and in GK. Some of which I have read and some I haven't. I'm not very clear on all the gangs myself.
Did you see the nifty holographic map of Gotham City that Babs made? It could help.
Matt: I don't read the JLA or JSA books (though I'm happy to take recommendations). Is Oracle as involved there as she is in the Batfamily's activities? I got the sense she was more of a resource for them than an active participant. That having been said, though, certainly her knowledge of everyone's secret identities makes her a real weak point for the organization! I'm sure Batman has a secret plan for taking her out, if need be. He's so reliable that way.
the JLA or JSA
JLA is sucking like a thing that sucks, and I've dropped it. Will tentatively start perusing it again when Kurt Busiek and Grant Morrison do their arcs.
Morrison, however, went a long way toward turning Oracle into a badass. His run on JLA with her as a member was excellent, and she really was running the damn team.
JSA is OK. Not as good as it's been, but will probably pick up a bit. Very little Oracle, though. I think, at most, Black Canary has spoken to her a couple times, and BC's not in it anymore.
What Morrison JLA TPBs should I read, Victor? Especially as an Oracle fan. (You mentioned a JLA story in which Bats gets split into two? I keep thinking about that, and would love to read it.)
Something Awful's Photoshop Phriday this week uses panels from Watchmen. It's rather amusing.

JLA 4: Strength in Numbers (The expansion of the team, including Oracle joining.)
JLA 5: Justice for All (Many strange tangents, including a bitchin Atom story. Various authors.)
JLA 6: World War II (Wherein shit hits fan. Much Morrisson epicness.)
JLA 7: Tower of Babel (Ra's Al Ghul takes down the League with Batman's traps. Pivotal for any Bat fan. Seriously. Mark Waid takes over writing chores.)
JLA 8: Divided We Fall (In the aftermath of Batman's "betrayal," the League is sharply divided. In some cases, literally. This was the one yopu were talking about.)
