'Objects In Space'
Discussion of Buffy and Angel comics, books, and more. Please don't get into spoilery details in the first week of release.

According to comics store guy, they didn't get any this week, and neither did the other stores he's heard from. Sounds like it's delayed a week, a thousand really creative curses be upon them.
I didn't see Outsiders in my store today. (I don't read it -- don't try to make me, you crack pushers! -- but I checked b/c of Sumi's post.)
BoP made me go HOLY SHIT! and I really disliked the art in Robin and Batgirl.
In BoP: Did we see Baps STAND UP? Or did I not read that correctly? Or was that maybe in her head?
I dind't make it to the comic book store.
However I did get the Young Justice: Sins of Youth trade that I won on ebay.
In GK: Does it seem as though Bats is too busy to deal with Tarantula or maybe he is giving her enough rope to hang herself.
In GK: Who're those two guys in the beginning, the bandaged guy and the helmeted guy?
Did I miss anything important in last week's LDK? I'm caught up but for that.
Last week:
Orpheus was ordered by Batman to set up a meet with Akahara's heir.
Batgirl was following Alexandra Kosov and her men, but lost them.
A pair of divers hijack a Navy transport, by luring it to their ambush with a false distress call.
Bats decides to revive his "Matches Malone" alias.
The meet between Orpheus and Akahara's heir turns out to be a trap - Onyx is injured.
This is not the exact order of events in LoDK #182.
Thanks, sumi! I understood about one-tenth of that, but at least one of those events clarified something I read today.
In GK, wasn't the bandaged guy Bruce's friend from childhood, the doctor, whose name I disremember right now (Tommy?), who was in "Hush"? Though it seemed as though he was killed in "Hush," but maybe that's the point.
Also in GK -- is the dude who was whacked *Orpheus*?
On BoP -- sumi, I had the same reaction, and I can't decide if it's in her head, or what.
Oh, and on the Tarantula issue, I get the feeling that Bats is just being a pragmatist and hoping that (1) Tarantula's involvement with the gang will keep *her* out of his hair, and (2) it might actually help keep the gang warfare under control. Though I expect all that to blow up in a big way.
I'm really confused about the BoP/IC/War Games timeline.
