So, this Manhunter book that starts tomorrow, anyone heard anything? And how does it tie in to IC ?
I've only seen the first issue. Variation of the classic Vigilante concept, only versus superhumans. Execution is everything, so I need to give it a couple issues.
There is nothing in the concept that inherently ties it to IC.

DC's promo for it that appeared on the back page of their comics -- this was about a month or more ago -- made mention of it being connected to (or kicked off by) events in IC.
Okay, so all that IC stuff in the back of the books is just marketing.

My only pull for today is Ult. Spidey. I am thus far resisting the lure of purchasing titles that may sink deeper into by financial and free time budgets.

Hey, did anyone's comic shop have Outsiders #15? I thought it was coming out today -- but it wasn't in!
I haven't gone looking yet, I really hope it is because it's my favorite comic right now.
I checked the New Comics list and it wasn't on it -- but it's still on DC's list for August 18th.
Bloody Sky Captain ! I can't read last week's Nightwing cause it's in plastic. And it sounds really good, too. Also, they were out of last week's Legends of the Dark Knight. Those were the only two War Games titles, right? And this week, the Batgirl is in plastic. It's going to be tough keeping up with this thing.

And God, I am loving the shit out of Daredevil right now. It's action-packed and funny and exciting and aw yeah. And I find Quinn terribly amusing. I hope he ends up being a recurring character, being hired by various enemies to take Matt out, and always failing. And always talking into his recorder about how close he came. And we don't know who/what Babette is, do we? I'm anxious to find out.

So it's a nice mix. As to BoP: did anyone else think Gail Simone must've been a big fan of Angel s4? I closed the issue thinking, "Big damn evil, sir." .
But then again, I'm spoiled for a voice casting on JLU: Gina Torres will be voicing Vixen. So it's possible I'm just suggestible.
